Ultrasound system, necessary for the imaging of soft tissue lesions-such as muscle tears, torn ligaments and tendons- and especially for the diagnosis of vascular diseases. The judicious use of ultrasonography protects the patient from unnecessary x-ray exposure, controls punctions, and is useful for post-operative control and arthroscopy of the large joints.
