About our Clinic
The goal of our clinic is to introduce modern minimally invasive surgical techniques, especially in cervical and lumbar disc hernias and traumas and degenerative conditions of the joints. We are able to do this due to the vast experience of Doctor Gheorghe Craciun and his collaborators. These new surgical techniques retain the integrity of the patient's tissues and permit a quicker recuperation and return to normal activity.
This does not exclude the practice of classical surgery when this is the most eficient treatment such as the treatment of congenital and acquired malformations of the limbs (halus valgus, hammer toes), nerve decompressions, etc.
Our clinic has an area of 400 square meters and it is situated in the Temco Medical Plaza on Republicii Str., Nr. 65-67, in Cluj Napoca. It is divided into two sections:
The ambulatory section with 3 medical offices for ultrasound investigations, cryotherapy and cryolaser; a conventional radiology laboratory , and an osteodensitometry laboratory linked by the reception area/waiting room where all the pacients are electonically registered. Consultations and surgical procedures are performed in the following specialties: Orthopedics and Traumatology, Pediatric Surgery and Orthopedics, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Anesthesia and Pain Management, by experienced, well-known specialists in their respective fields.
Clinical/operating section with a modern, fully-equipped operating room, 3 comfortable pacient's rooms with 2 beds, for short-term use, with separate bathrooms, air conditioning, television, telephone, internet connection, etc. The rooms are equipped with post-operative monitoring and oxygen therapy equipment permiting the proper post-operative management of our pacients.

- Over 12000 orthopedic surgical procedures, 3000 in minimally invasive surgical techniques.
- 30 years of professional activity in Germany; 8 years as department head of the Orthopedic Clinic in Rheinfelden / Baden and 18 as the director/owner of a private clinic.
- Member of the Association of Minimally Invasive Surgery of Disc Hernias, founded at Marbella in 1986.
- Recipient of the UNESCO diploma for distinguished medical activity.
